First Steps in Sewing

A short introduction to materials and equipment

Sewing Curious?

Plenty of people either know someone who sews or had a small experience with sewing when they were younger but never really knew how to pick up the scissors and get started. Buying expensive equipment is unnecessary to get started in this most ancient of everyday activities, even a needle and thread is enough make a decent sewn product.

The purpose of this short (2-hour) course is to introduce the sewing curious to the materials and equipment used in sewing projects, in order to demystify the steps required to get started with sewing.
